An Interview With Bert Gerbrands
After holidaying at Turtle Cove Resort, the LGBTI resort in Far North Queensland for over ten years Greg Howard sits down and talks about the resort and its history with one of the founders and current General Manager Bert Gerbrands. Their conversation journeys from the 1980’s through to 2016 and is complemented by photos from the early days and footage of the resort, staff and guests from both January and September 2016. With humour and the stunning scenery of this tropical corner of Queensland this interview captures an important chapter in Australian Gay history.

Balcony Beers and Black Plastic
After connecting via a social networking app on their mobiles, two guys arrange to meet. Their compatability is a matter of opinion depending on who of the two you asked. Ineveritible their relationship is short lived and it is not long before one of them is looking for his next encounter.

Older 'n' Last Time
Older n Last Time is Myrtle Boys' second feature and began production in February 2009
and was completed in February 2010. While it's story
starts where our first Feature Damaged Goods finished it is a completely
self-contained story and doesn't rely on the viewer having seen
that movie.

Damaged Goods
In April 2008 we commenced shooting Damaged Goods.
The first two thirds of the film was shot in the Sydney suburbs of Redfern, Waterloo and Coogee, the coast around Kiama and the Blue Mountains; while the beautiful Hunter Valley was the location for what we thought at the time was the final thirty minutes of the film.
However after audience testing we were back shooting again in February 2009.
This 85 minute feature film is now complete and is being submitted to festivals around the world for their consideration.
